MONUMENT WALK #1 - TRYING OUT THE "NEW" POLAROID

3/26/2014

In the commemorative spirit of Monument Blog, I'll be shooting most of the site's photos on film.

My first purchase toward this end was a Polaroid Impulse 600 Film Instant Flash camera.  She's a beauty.  Since Polaroid is no longer manufacturing film for this camera, I'll be using stock from The Impossible Project - a company working to keep the Polaroid legacy alive. They bought and have continued operate to its last remaining film factory since 2008.

Above, are some shots from my first Monument Walk in DC using the Impossible Project's PX600 Silver Shade film.  I'm still working on getting the exposure just right.
